    Aptuit, an Evotec COMPANY, is a worldwide Contract Research Organization, collaborating with all the major Pharma and Biotech companies in support of various drug discovery and development projects.

    We are looking for a highly motivated Analytical Scientist TTM (Technical Team Member) to join us for a position in our site in Verona. The new figure will report to the Analytical TTM Manager. He/She will work in a qualified team within the AMS (Analytical and Material Science) group.

    Responsibilities

    The resource will be responsible for the technical co-ordination of the analytical activities in support of stand-alone and/or drug development integrated and INDIGO projects. 

    He/She should offer the scientific support to the customers and internal projects team by:

    • coordinating the analytical activities throughout the different disciplines involved in the life cycle of the projects;
    • providing written/oral updates/presentations to the Customers on analytical activities;  
    • ensuring the execution of the correct analytical activities as per contract;
    • actively communicating with analytical team leaders and analysts to ensure the correct scheduling of project analytical activities and their execution within the agreed timelines and at the required level of quality;
    • providing solutions to analytical technical issues/difficulties as they arise, with the support, if required, of the team leaders/analytical experts within AMS team;
    • writing and/or reviewing scientific and technical documentation, with the full accountability for the data presented and the comments/conclusions provided, as well as for further discussion on reports content with the CustomersThe TTM is also accountable for the preparation of proposals, providing the required inputs for the analytical activities and related costs (PAT), ensuring the delivery of high quality proposals in the due timelines, to meet and exceed client expectations.

     

    Qualifications

    • University degree in Chemistry or CTF.
    • Excellent knowledge of analytical chemistry applied to API and/or DP development/manufacturing.
    • Good knowledge in pharmaceutical R&D and in particular in the drug development process and associated scientific and regulatory elements.
    • Familiarity with cGMP.
    • Excellent written and oral communication. Capable to communicate effectively in English.
    • Strong sense of accountability for the outcome.
    • Self-control, ability to work in groups and cooperate with others.
    • Good interpersonal skills, listening and communication.
    • Multitasking and problem solving skills.
    • Self-motivated with excellent time-management, organisation skills and dynamism.

    Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company and / or CRO possibly gained in analytical chemistry, are considered preferential requirements.
